La Raza Culture Days: La Gran Tardeada 2012

The UC Davis Cross Cultural Center annually hosts a week-long series of events known as “La Raza Culture Days” dedicated to the hardships and achievements of the Latino/Chicano community. This particular event “La Gran Tardeada” included food booths, entertainment, a children’s fair, a health fair, and immigration clinic information, and fun for the whole family. Birdstrike Theatre

Birdstrike Theatre is UC Davis’ own improv and sketch comedy group. The group holds shows (which are usually free) regularly, throughout the school year, on campus. Birdstrike provides a great way to spend part of your night with friends, and is an amazing group to get involved with if you are interested in trying out improv yourself.
